It Don’t Mean a Thing……..,

Nara 2007Nara Aging 2007, 50% Syrah, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot

Bright dark cherry colour with brown trimmings. Very dense, high layer, close to opaque. The nose is quite intense, with fruit compote aromas (like plum), cocoa and toasted and spicy notes (vanilla and pepper). On the palate it is oily, greasy and greedy, balanced and with a good structure. Long aftertaste and persistent aromas. Cabernet Sauvignon spends 25 days on open French oak barrels and the Syrah and Merlot, 25 days in stainless steel tank, plunging the cap often. 60% of the wine spends 14 months on French oak and 40% on American, also 14 months. The grapes come from three different estates, the Syrah from Can Bartomeu vineyard, the Cabernet Sauvignon from El Fêlix vineyard and the Merlot from the Cal Capità vines.
